Cookie policy
This is an English translation provided for convenience. The Spanish version is the legally binding one and prevails in case of any discrepancy: Política de cookies.

1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites install on the user’s device when the user visits them. They are used to store and retrieve information about browsing, remember preferences, offer a personalized experience and, in some cases, measure use of the site or display advertising. Cookies are used on this site in accordance with Article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the guidelines of the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
The party responsible for installing first-party cookies on this site is:
- Company name: PIPM ALTAHOJA SOLUTIONS, S.L.
- Tax ID (CIF): B22899462
- Registered office: C/ Uruguay, 20 — 29693 Estepona (Málaga)
- Contact email: hola@izuel.es
2. Types of cookies
By purpose: technical or strictly necessary (essential for the site to function: session, security, remembering consent; they do not require consent), preference cookies, analytics or statistics cookies (they require prior consent) and marketing or advertising cookies (they require prior consent). By ownership: first-party (installed by the site itself) and third-party (installed by integrated external services). By duration: session cookies (they expire when the browser is closed) and persistent cookies.
3. Consent management
This site has a consent management system (cookie banner) that is shown on your first visit and allows you to accept all, reject or configure cookies by category, with the reject button as accessible as the accept button and with no pre-ticked boxes, in accordance with the AEPD Guide on the use of cookies. The categories are:
- Necessary (always active): essential for the site to function. They are exempt from the consent requirement.
- Analytics: measurement of the use of the site. Disabled by default; they are only loaded if you accept them.
- Marketing: personalization and advertising. Disabled by default; they are only loaded if you accept them.
Cookies and resources in the analytics and marketing categories remain blocked until you give your consent. As proof of consent, and in accordance with the GDPR accountability principle, we keep a record of each decision that includes the date and time, the categories accepted, the version of this policy, the browser and the IP address stored in encrypted form (hash) —so that it serves as evidence without storing the data in clear text—. This record is kept for a period of 3 years from the time consent is given or from its withdrawal, as this is the limitation period for any applicable infringements under Article 45.2 of Organic Law 3/2018 on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD).
4. Cookies currently in use
At present this site uses only necessary technical cookies, which are exempt from the consent requirement. No analytics or advertising cookies are used, nor are any third-party resources loaded that transmit your IP address when the page loads (fonts are self-hosted on the site’s own server). The only exception is Cloudflare’s anti-spam verification (Turnstile), which is loaded on the contact form and, in the chat, only when you open the panel.
| Cookie | Owner | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| altahoja_consent | First-party | Remember your cookie preferences (accept / reject / configure) so that the banner is not shown to you again | Technical (exempt) | 1 year |
| wordpress_*, wp-settings-* | First-party | Maintain the session and preferences of people with an account (administration) | Technical (exempt) | Session / up to 1 year |
| wpcf7-* | First-party | Validation and status of the contact form (only when it is submitted) | Technical (exempt) | Session |
Website chat. The chat keeps in the browser’s session storage (sessionStorage, key izuel-chat) the conversation and a signed pass, valid for 30 minutes, showing that you have already passed the anti-spam check. Both are deleted when you close the tab. The conversation is sent to IZUEL’s chat service only to generate each answer, and IZUEL does not store it. This storage is necessary to provide the service you request, so it is exempt from consent. Cloudflare explains how Turnstile verification processes data in its privacy policy.
If analytics tools (for example, a privacy-friendly solution), advertising, pixels, maps, embedded videos or a newsletter are added in the future, they will be activated within the corresponding banner categories —only with prior consent— and this table will be updated with the details of each cookie, its purpose, duration and provider.
5. How to withdraw or change your consent
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it:
- From the site itself, by clicking here: Cookie settings (reopens the preferences panel).
- By deleting the
altahoja_consentcookie from your browser: on your next visit the banner will ask you for your choice again.
You can also allow, block or delete the cookies installed on your device by configuring your browser options. Please note that disabling technical or functional cookies may affect the proper functioning of the site. Below are links to the help pages of the most widely used browsers:
6. Updates to this policy
This policy may be amended in response to regulatory changes, changes to the tools integrated into the site or guidance from the Spanish Data Protection Agency. Any change will be published on this same page with its update date; if the change affects non-essential cookies, you will be asked for your consent again. For more information on how your data is processed, see our Privacy Policy.
